water saving

The special geometry with integrated protective ring prevents unintentional release of the drinking nipple. The hens can no longer accidentally actuate the drinking nipple with their comb. Any dripping water that may nevertheless occur is safely collected by the large dripping water cup. In practice, this reduces water consumption by up to 20ml per hen. The savings come exclusively from the avoidance of water losses. The biological performance of the hen is not affected.

biogas yield

The reduced water losses can increase the dry matter content of the manure by 5-10%. This increases the biogas yield up to 200Nl/kg. The drier manure is thus an ideal substrate for all biogas plants. The higher dry matter content also increases the transportability of the manure.

durability

The drip water cup is made of high quality modified HDPE plastic. The high impact resistance of this material prevents pecking through the cup, especially for hens with intact beaks. The flat bottom of the cup also ensures that the hens always peck to a different place. In this way we ensure a long life of the cup.

sustainability

Sustainability played the most important role for us in the development of the cup. So we use only high quality materials that guarantee a long life. The protective ring offers the possibility to reduce the water consumption noticeably and at the same time to valorize the accruing excrement significantly.
